Lead: Accenture and CEP
Project description
In 2024, the Circular Electronics Partnership joined efforts with the Circular Design Forum and Accenture to develop a holistic guidance on circular design for the electronics industry. The collaborative effort involved over 60 experts from 25 organizations contributing with unique practical insights to shape what became the Circular Electronics Design Guide (CEDG). The guide is a freely available resource designed to guide practitioners across the electronic product value chain through the complexities of embedding circularity into design.
Building on the knowledge and momentum gathered throughout last year, in 2025, the project will foster the adoption of the Circular Innovation Process Blueprint and other insights the guide offers. The working group will further continue the development of a second iteration of the guide with new company insights.
The project welcomes new contributing members, so if your company is interested in getting support from the CEP in adopting the guide’s principles or sharing best practices to be included in the next version of the guide, please reach out to the CEP Secretariat on info@cep2030.org.
