Participation Tiers
CEP offers a tiered participation structure that is inclusive of all levels of maturity while supporting learning, implementation, and leadership, and allows us to convene a diverse range of stakeholders while ensuring clear pathways for deeper engagement and greater influence as organizations progress in their circularity efforts.
- Community Tier: Community participation is the most inclusive level of participation in CEP and is intended for organizations that are seeking exposure to industry best practices and emerging developments, either at the beginning of their circularity journey or to inform more mature programs while considering higher CEP Tiers. Community participants prioritize information sharing and knowledge dissemination. This tier provides access to CEP’s broad practitioner community and enables organizations to stay informed of trends, insights, and progress across the electronics value chain.
- Member Tier: Member participation is designed for organizations that have an active interest in circular practices and are prepared to engage in deeper technical collaboration with peers. Members participate in CEP as problem solvers and contributors, engaging in structured workgroups, projects, and technical discussions focused on implementation, adoption, and industry outcomes. This tier emphasizes collaboration to address real-world challenges within organizations and across the sector.
- Partner Tier: Partner participation represents the highest level of engagement and leadership within CEP. Partners play a steering role in shaping CEP’s strategic direction, priorities, and long-term agenda. Partners are recognized as industry leaders and first movers in advancing the Roadmap and circular electronics practices. This tier carries both influence and responsibility, with Partners expected to actively guide CEP’s work and represent leadership within the broader ecosystem.
